Craftsy: My Favorite Crafting Resource

Craftsy: My Favorite Crafting Resource

Happy Tuesday everyone! I wanted to take some time to talk about an AMAZING crafting resource that you really need to take advantage of: Craftsy.com.

Craftsy is a teaching platform for all sorts of crafts from cake decorating, weaving, knitting, paper crafts, QUILTING, etc.   In each of these categories, there are video classes that you can enroll in which are taught by experts in their field.  For each video you get:

  • High quality, detailed, video tutorials
  • Written instructions
  • Lifetime access to the course
  • Ability to ask questions, right on the platform
  • Fast feedback from the instructor and other students
  • Option to take video notes
  • Photo gallery of other student’s work (and your own!)
  • Option to take the class as many times as you want

I have learned so many techniques, design options and skills through craftsy and I highly encourage you to take a look at it.  If you’re not convinced already, check out some of their free courses! My favorite free course is the 2012 Craftsy BOM taught by Amy Gibson.  She’s so fun to listen to and gives very detailed instructions.  I can not stress this enough – make an account at craftsy.com! You can click the link on the side of my blog and that will send you right where you need to be! 🙂

Well what are you waiting for?  Get on it!

p.s. I just enrolled in a free course all about making “Perfect Pizza at Home.”  My stomach is already grumbling!
