2013 Sugar Block of the Month

Ohhh…we’re half way there…

Half way done with my 2013 BOM blocks! (actually 7/12 blocks but that song is so catchy!)

I’ve previously shown you my 2012 Craftsy BOM quilt top designed by Amy Gibson. I just loved her class so much that I started keeping up with her quilting.  On her personal blog, she’s doing a 2013 BOM called the “Sugar Block Club” that I’m just loving.  Each month she sends out a cute little pattern, complete with very detailed instructions AND a dessert recipe.  Two of my favorite things!

I seem to be stuck on bright, solid fabrics.  They are just so easy, fun to work with and they really show off the pattern well!  Sunny Days is by far my favorite block – perfect for the beautiful summer weather outside.  Which is your favorite?
