Dreher Wedding Quilt – Complete!

Yesterday, Aaron and Emily received their sunflower-themed wedding quilt!

  

Haven’t been keeping up with my progress?  See my previous posts about the idea and the appliqué progress.

I think the best way to tell you about this quilt is by showing you lots of pictures!

I filled the sunflowers with free motion pebbling to mimic the seeds of the flower.

After I had finished all the machine quilting, binding and photographing, I mailed the quilt home to my Mom. She was kind enough to use her embroidery skills and add the wedding date in the center of the big sunflower. Isn’t that cute?

I still love this little guy 🙂

I’m honored to have had the opportunity to immortalize the well wishes for this new couple.  I hope it warms and brightens their new home!
