Tackling My WIP Pile: Swoon Block

My WIP stack has been adding up so I’ve decided to start finishing up these projects. I’m embarrassed to say I have some blocks and quilt tops that have been sitting unloved for months to years.

I had to look back at my previous blog post to see when I had made this 24″ swoon block.  Almost a year and a half ago – yikes! Better late than never, right?

I wanted to do some straight line stitching, but wasn’t too picky about them being perfect, just functional and fun!  I picked matching thread for each section and outlined the design.  For the middle star, I stitched three echoing lines. 

I haven’t decided exactly what I’m going to do with this project, but I’m leaning toward a table topper.  Einstein already thinks it should be his!
