Sparkler Quilt – Finished!

I’ve probably said this before – but I think I have a new favorite quilt! I definitely shouldn’t have waited three years to finish this sparkler quilt, but I’m excited to use it now.

This project started when I purchased the most wonderful Kona solids fat quarter bundle of warm colors to go along with The Sparkler Quilt pattern by Lee Heinrich of Freshly Pieced, in contrast to her original version in cool colors.  I love what you can do with solids, especially being able to create this fun ombre effect.

I finished up the quilt with my go-to pattern: an all over stipple. Simple and snuggly.  The texture showed up really nicely in the sunshine.

The quilt inspector says “pass!”
