Raincheck Quilt Top
My latest quilt top – Raincheck! Seriously, is this not the cutest appliqué pattern?
The pattern is designed by Camille Roskelley and uses her new fabric line, April Showers. I just love her designs!
I changed up her pattern slightly, and chose to do raw edge appliqué rather than the pillowcase method she designed. That seemed like a lot of extra work when I don’t mind the appliqué stitches. I bought a box of aurifil thread to match the fabric line which made the appliqué process so fun! It should work well for the quilting too.
Some of the umbrella tops are one print, and some we made with strips.
Its a pretty decent lap size. I can’t wait to use this one!
I love the combination of polka dots and stripes.
