Rail Fence Charity Quilt

Rail Fence Charity Quilt

This week was all about charity quilts and I have a second one to show you! I used half a jelly roll from the Fleurologie collection to make a rail fence quilt that fit within the Quilt’s for Kids size specifications.

It came together really quickly using three-piece strip sets.

Aren’t those fabrics cute??

Loving these colors!

We were asked to use machine binding for strength, so I added some curved stitching in pink to make it a bit more fun! Four leftover jelly roll strips worked perfectly for a scrappy look.

All finished! The large-scale stipple kept the quilt nice and soft.  It’s in the dryer now and then it will be ready to send off to a special little girl.
