Hashtag Quilt

The past few weeks I’ve been working diligently to make a fun Christmas gift for my Mom.

The pattern came from Craftsy’s Pre-Cut Piecing Made Simple Class taught by Camille Roskelley. Her hashtag quilt is a great project for a jelly roll, and I used one from Camille’s own fabric line. The line, Happy Go Lucky, is available through Moda.

Construction was stress free without tricky templates or angles. I just had to be very accurate with seam allowances to make sure all of the lines of the hashtag lined up.

I used one of the fun stitches on my machine to quilt all the layers together. I’m always looking to use those features in some way!

Mom has it laid on the bed in her craft space along with the coordinating pillow I made. It looks cute there!
